KITE (Ketamine Infusion Therapy Experts) was created to help people facing difficult mental health and chronic symptom challenges feel heard, supported, and hopeful about what comes next. The practice focuses on safe, evidence-based ketamine infusion therapy delivered with compassion, clinical expertise, and a whole-person approach to care.
At KITE, the goal is not to promote quick fixes. It is to provide thoughtful, individualized treatment that respects each patient’s history, existing healthcare relationships, and long-term wellness goals.
Meet Christen Roberts, CRNA
Christen Roberts is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with extensive experience in anesthesia and perioperative medicine. Her background includes IV sedation, vascular access, airway management, emergency care, and close patient monitoring.
Her commitment to mental health became deeply personal after seeing the impact that mental health challenges can have on individuals, families, and communities. After witnessing the transformative potential of ketamine infusion therapy among people close to her, Christen became increasingly interested in innovative approaches that could support patients who had not found enough relief through traditional care.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded BAMBU, or Bringing Awareness Through Medicine by Uniting, a mental health awareness initiative focused on education, compassion, advocacy, and reducing stigma.
Why KITE Was Created
KITE was founded around a simple but meaningful image: a patient as a kite resting in the sand, with the practice serving as the wind that may help it rise again.
That philosophy reflects KITE’s patient-first mission. Care is centered on helping people reclaim meaningful parts of their lives, not on volume or one-size-fits-all treatment.
KITE provides personalized ketamine infusion therapy with an emphasis on:
- Compassionate, judgment-free care
- Personalized treatment protocols
- Expert IV sedation and vascular access skills
- Hospital-level monitoring
- Advanced airway and emergency expertise
- Medical director involvement
- Collaboration with referring physicians and therapists
- Ongoing support rather than one-time treatment
Our Approach to Care
KITE believes healing requires more than medication alone. Patients deserve to feel listened to, understood, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.
The practice encourages patients to maintain relationships with their existing physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare providers. Ketamine therapy is considered within the context of comprehensive care rather than as a replacement for established treatment.
Every treatment plan begins with careful screening and is tailored to the individual. Safety, honesty, and realistic expectations remain central throughout the process.
Our Mission
KITE is dedicated to transforming lives through safe, evidence-based ketamine infusion therapy. Through compassionate and patient-centered care, the practice strives to restore hope, support healing, and help individuals facing mental health and chronic symptom challenges work toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.
